CrypKey USBKey

Durable, simple, and economical software license protection.

It's a convenient solution for customers who frequently move software or data between computers. It's also a great tool for use with computers in unique circumstance that cannot easily use other software protection measures.

CrypKey USBKey can work in conjunction with CrypKey licensing whereby both CrypKey USBKey and either CrypKey Instant or CrypKey SDK are used to protect a software application. To date, CrypKey offers the only combination hardware and electronic license management solution.

CrypKey USBKey benefits users who:

• frequently move from one computer to another and require an easy, flexible solution for transferring software licenses (i.e., those who work both at the office and at home, or travel between remote office locations)
• prefer hardware-based license protection
• require a backup of their software license
• do not always have access to the internet to retrieve their license

• require flexibility in transferring and accessing their software applications
• distribute their software and licenses in a ready-to-run format

CrypKey USBKey is:

• small (the size of a car key) and durable
• easier to use than a dongle, since its operating system has built-in support for flash drives
• easy to modify and update
• less expensive than a dongle
• greater storage capacity than a dongle (e.g., typical dongle has 128 K capacity; CrypKey USBKey's capacity ranges from 32 MB to 4 GB)

CrypKey USBKeys have a one-time activation fee for each software title protected and minimum order quantities exist for most key sizes.

The system requirements of CrypKey USBKey are:

• CrypKey Instant or CrypKey SDK
• Windows 2003, XP, Vista, Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit)
• 133 MHz or higher Pentium-compatible CPU.
• 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM recommended minimum
• 2GB hard disk with a minimum of 650MB of free space
