Just released last month, CrypKey's USBKey, the flash drive licensing solution for developers and end users who prefer a tangible software protection solution, is a big hit thus far. The size of a car key, USBKey is a simple and economical way to protect software licenses. It plugs into any computer with a USB port. USBKey is the ideal license management solution for those who need to move a license from one computer to another. It has a maximum 2GB storage capacity, compared to a dongle, which typically can store only 128K of data. USBKey can hold an entire software application and the license to authorize it. Soon you will be able to copy protect and control Microsoft Office, Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Acrobat or any data file, just like you copy protect and control your executables. CrypKey is working on development of a new product that will allow users to give a CrypKey license to documents such as Help and Word files, thereby controlling access to them. The new product is expected to roll out in the near future. Stay tuned for further details.

This is often because the application shortcut is not set to start in the application directory. Do to the higher occurrence of this problem the tech note of the month is to ensure that your application shortcut is set to start in the application directory.
