.NET Solution Beta Version Is Here

The long awaited .NET solution (beta version), will be launched in the next few weeks. This newest product will be .NET compatible and the only available solution offering true code encryption for .NET applications.

In addition to .NET protection, soon to be released CrypKey 7.0’s other exciting features include:

• enterprise network licensing - enables a protected program to function anywhere on the enterprise network
• enhanced license transfer – permits users to transfer licenses out of and back into a license pool
• eTransfer - allows licenses to be quickly and easily transferred from one computer to another via the Internet.

4. Support News

Final Reminder: New Support Policy

We have previously sent email and newsletter notices requesting that you remind your customers to renew their support subscriptions before new policies take effect.

Many of your customers either have expired support subscriptions or no support at this time; however, without a support subscription, they will not be eligible for technical support or any new downloads. Without a support subscription, they will miss out on our soon-to-be-released version 7.0. Having current support subscriptions will help your customers save hundreds or thousands of dollars.

As a courtesy to you, we are extending the renewal privilege to Distributors Only until July 31, 2005. Please note that after July 31, 2005, CrypKey will directly contact any customers that do not have current annual subscriptions and invite them to renew them.

We strongly encourage you to notify all of your customers of this announcement and to invite them renew their licenses immediately to take advantage of technical support, downloads and new product releases.

Choosing CrypKey Solutions

If your customers want to determine which CrypKey product is right for them, here is a basic summary you can pass along.

Need: Basic Protection | Solution: CrypKey Instant

CrypKey Instant provides basic software protection. Generally, it provides everything customers need for a simple "Run/Don't Run" check and perhaps also a "Ready-To-Try" program on their website.

The primary advantage of CrypKey Instant is that it's quick to implement. The protection process takes only minutes and there is no need to re-compile the executable. CrypKey Instant takes care of the interface, logic and control. All your customers need to do is run it on their software. There is no need to access the source code, to write code or make calls to CrypKey's libraries. With CrypKey Instant, you can protect virtually any executable and control its use through the CrypKey SKGL (Site Key Generator Library).

Need: Greater Control | Solution: CrypKey SDK

CrypKey SDK provides greater control. If your customers require more control and integration in the inner workings of your program, CrypKey SDK is the best choice.

The primary advantage of CrypKey SDK is its flexibility. It lets customers control what CrypKey does and when it does it, based on your own program requirements.

For example, your customers may need CrypKey SDK if they want to meter the use of a calculation within the program. Or they may benefit from making the security interface seamlessly consistent with the rest of their program. If customers expect their software to be targeted by hackers, they will want as much security as CrypKey can provide.

Both CrypKey Instant and CrypKey SDK are the same price and both include CrypKey Stealth.
